Attention #SoldierNation and Randolph County history buffs!!
Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School will be collaborating with the Historic Pierre Menard Home to clean up and help with preserving the site for visitors to explore and enjoy. If you are a school family wanting to help your student get a head start on community service hours or a community member who wants to help keep this site looking great for Randolph County, please consider this opportunity.

Our Facilities Manager, Connie Jean Liefer, has coordinated two work days; August 10 and August 18 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. You do not have to stay the entire time, but we would like to know if you are coming so we can have food and water for you. Hot dogs, chips and water will be supplied.

Examples of work include: sweeping/leaf blowing buildings and parking lots, wiping down signs near buildings and lots, washing windows and moving stones around the walkways.

If you are interested in helping either day, please contact the school office at 618-853-7300 or Connie Liefer through FB or

Please share with anyone you know that might like to make a difference at the Pierre Menard Home.
