Our History
Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School was founded in 1999, and held classes at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. We have fourteen association churches that support our school. Our first principal was Mrs. Sherry Prange. We started with just eleven students. We moved into our new gymnasium and classroom building on August 8, 2004, thanks to the generous giving of our association congregation members and the tireless work of our campaign fund raising chair, Mr. Dell Prange and his committee. In the fall of 2008, Mr. Ray Hill became our interim principal. Mrs. Ann Ryherd became our interim principal for the 2009 - 2010 school year while Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School undertook the calling of a new principal. On August 31, 2009 we dedicated our new classroom building. On August 22, 2010 we will install our new principal, John Christman. God has blessed our high school.
We are affiliated with the Southern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod
