Good News for Parents:
The Board of Directors of Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School made several decisions at its April meeting that impact parents in a positive way. These decisions are recruitment efforts, but they also bring direct benefit to you, the parent. 1. The Board voted to lock in tuition. By registering BEFORE MAY 31, you will lock in tuition for your child for the remainder of time he/she is at Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School at the current 2007 – 2008 rate. If you do not register your child by May 31, your rate will be locked in at next year’s tuition rates which are ten percent higher than this year. The benefits are obvious. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE. AFTER MAY 31 YOU WILL LOSE THE BENEFIT OF THIS YEAR’S PRICES. So have your child come in and pick up a registration packet now. 2. The Board voted a $500 tuition credit for any tuition-paying family you bring into the school. That family must remain through January and then your family will be given a $500 tuition credit that can be used for the spring semester or the following year. Be sure to communicate with the school if you are encouraging a family to attend so that proper credit can be given. Another option could be to encourage the family you bring to mention your involvement when they register. This is a tremendous benefit because there is no limit to the number of families you can bring. This gives parents the opportunity to have a free education if they wish to use it. 3. The Board of Directors understands God is blessing COSLHS and it looks as if we are going to have enough money to build our classroom building. So the Board voted to PASS ON THE BLESSINGS by offering a limited number of FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS. These would be for new families who have not previously attended Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School. A newly formed Recruitment Committee of the Board of Directors is working out the details, but a service component will be required for parents. It also appears that there will be a limited time during May that these will be available, so please feel free to call the high school for more information.
